The Opportunity
To enhance engagement and drive purchases among new users, we designed and developed a custom website application to provide users with an effortless way find the right knife based upon their lifestyle and needs.
The Strategy
Our solution needed to strike a balance between gathering sufficient information for accurate recommendations and minimizing user friction. To accomplish this balance, we implemented a multi-step approach. Our process included identifying key questions focused on user needs, employing progressive disclosure to present options in a manageable way, and incorporating visual aids to simplify choices for the user.

To reduce cognitive load and speed up the process, we incorporated visual elements like icons or images to represent different knife types or uses, allowing users to quickly identify their needs.
